Biography
This band started in January 2006 as a mean to promote the hard salsa movement started by Fania All Starts which was part of our way of live back in the late 70s and 80s. That style of traditional salsa somehow was replaced temporally with the new romantic style of the 90s. Our mission is to bring it back for the enjoyment of the people not only Hispanics but everyone else as well. This is the type of salsa that will make you move even without realizing that you are dancing. We play contemporary hard salsa as well as the great old salsa of Willie Colon and Hector Lavoe. You will be amazed at the sounds of our great trombone, percussion and piano solos. We also Play the merengues of Elvis Crespo and Grupo Mania for your entertainment, as well as famous boleros like Pronostico, A mi Manera and many more. Our band is composed of very talented musicians. We have a musician that possesses a Master Degree in music currently teaching near Austin, Tx and also several University of Texas Master Degree Music Program students as well as several members of the United States Army Band. Our goal is to entertainment the public and introduce new people to the hot rhythm of SALSA.
