Artist Information Biography Based in north central Ohio, The Clearfork Valley String Band plays truly American music for one reason: enjoyment! With members spanning three generations, the band performs traditional fiddle-based music with a purity that transcends trends and gimmicks. Much of this music was around before the Civil War and it continues to have a vitality all its own. While the band size may at times vary from three to five musicians (depending on whom is available), the result is always the same: energetic, heart-felt music that brings people together. The Clearfork Valley String Band provides wholesome entertainment the entire family can enjoy - lively, acoustic music suitable for listening or dancing and for any event!
