Artist Information Biography She’s not an average girl, yet she’s as approachable as the girl next door. She can rock out on her energetic song “It’s Not the First Time”, yet she sings her melodic ballad “Just Go” with equal emotion and beauty. A study in contrasts, at 22, Sarah VonderHaar is living her dream through hard work and dedication. Not only has she toured much of the US with Kansas City rockers Pomeroy and played both the Taste of Chicago on the Best Buy stage as well as Milwaukee’s Summerfest on the US Cellular Connection stage, but she also continues to play regularly both acoustically and with her full band throughout her home city of Chicago. At a recent concert, one of her fans said, “How can someone look so good on a 50 foot jumbo-tron?’ Well Sarah can, and she is just as engaging playing her acoustic guitar in a small intimate club as she is performing with her full band at a large rock venue. When she’s home she finds time to speak to groups at local schools to encourage girls to follow their dreams, and models part time for Elite Chicago where she started when she was 16. She still is recognized from her appearance on season 8 of America’s Next Top Model, but now focuses her time and energy on her first love, writing and performing music.
