"Brand New Day" from the album "Tonight"  hit the top 10 on the East Coast Countdown with Jimmy Inch!

The Terri Lynn Eddy Band

This Trinity Bay native has been creating quite a stir on the Newfoundland music scene since
1999 when she released her debut album Terri Lynn Eddy “Dreams”. Now with her band and a
new sound Terri Lynn has returned with the release of her latest recording “Tonight”. With an
original modern retro style steeped in rock & blues this CD boasts edgy lyrics and catchy riffs
with songwriting infused with real issues and personal endeavors. The release of their first
single “Brand New Day” secured them the # 8 spot on the acclaimed East Coast Count Down.
Since the CD release in March, 2008 Terri Lynn and her band have been impressing the
Atlantic Canadian scene with their focus based mainly in Newfoundland, but some shows have
taken them off the Rock. From Stephenville to St. John’s they have been playing venues big
and small. In 2008 they rocked the stages at the George Street Festival and the Wreckhouse
Jazz & Blues Festival in the province’s capital, and in 2009 they were honored to be the host
band for this year’s Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Arts Council Awards Show.

2008 was great for Terri Lynn and the band with five Music NL nominations, and they opened
up the award show with a stellar performance of their single Brand New Day. The band also
received two East Coast Music Award nominations: Rock Album of the Year and a nomination
for the ECMA Fan Choice Award! After a number of showcases at the 2009 ECMA Conference
& Gala the band made a strong connection with the song writing company Combustion based
out of Nashville. All good for the next album!

Terri Lynn would be nothing without the amazing band that she has backing her up. Bryan
Oram, lead guitar player for the group, started playing at age 16 and it wasn’t long before Bryan
sparked people’s interest with his Richie Sambora influenced solos. With slick soulful guitar
playing and a love affair with music, Bryan soars as one of Newfoundland’s finest musicians.

Renée Batten is rhythm guitarist and back up vocalist for the group. Her versatility and rhythmic
abilities distinguish her from the rest. Coming from a strong musical background, Renée is
naturally gifted with the ability to play a wide variety of instruments. At the age of four she began
playing the accordion and has mastered guitar, bass, fiddle, bodhran, mandolin and banjo. Oh!
And add songwriter to the list.

With this year and next year booking up quickly and lots of great things in the works, the band
has established a strong foothold in Newfoundland and has sights set on doing the same across
Canada. With solid, experienced management and a top booking agency, the Terri Lynn Eddy
Band is ready to ROCK! Look for an Atlantic Canadian Tour in the fall and a new album in the
spring!

“Terri Lynn Eddy has a voice that is a mixture of velvet and steel”
Mark Vaughan Jackson, The Telegram.

“This is one of the best rock albums that Newfoundland has seen in a while”
Wade Pinhorn, President - East Coast Music Associtaion
