Biography
Virtual CH is Minneapolis' own singer-songwiter & multi-instrumentalist Chris Harrington. With a couple of critically acclaimed CDs under his belt, Harrington blazes a new musical and video trail with his new live multi-media rock show. Virtual CH is all CH... critically acclaimed vocals, drums, bass, guitar, keys, gizmos - all synced live to video of CH performing each part...then the audience goes for a visual and sonic ride as CH performs instruments and interacts with video on stage...authentic...Virtual CH.
On Harrington's last record 'YOU THE PROVIDER, he had some heavy weight drum contributions from Jason Mackenroth (Henry Rollins, Daniel Lanios) and Minneapolis Rock Veteran Jacques Wait on vintage analog production & bass. With voice at the helm, painting vivid lyrical images, Harrington sets out to explore the mysterious legacy his late father left behind. YOU THE PROVIDER also features the acclaimed "In Awe Again" video, featured in the notable Minneapolis "Sound Unseen" Film and Music festival.
Harrington currently manipulates sound for several other Minneapolis artists including: Just Live Hip Hop, Communist Daughter, The Melismatics, The Label Sketch Comedy and Bitch n' Brown in his new South Minneapolis studio: Clyde's Coal Chute.
