Master Percussionist, Bassist, Producer, Song Writer, Film Score Composer, Instructor, Music Educator.
Crossing all genres of music, and adding his own unique & funky grooves, James Henry delivers a fresh, contempo sound that appeals to everyone, from New York to L.A. and New Guinea to Brazil.

Inspired by greats such as Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder and James Brown, San Francisco based artist James Henry, embraced his hometown roots while pursuing a professional career in music. A music veteran, James has composed TV and film scores, toured the world with Pablo Cruise, and collaborated with other great artists including Sly Stone, Pete Escovedo, Taj Mahal, Robben Ford, Buddy Miles, Rick James, and many more.
With four critically acclaimed CD's to his credit, as well as an award as Best of San Francisco World Beat Music, James continues to explore new musical genres and will soon release a new album, "Dragonfly", a creative project which showcases James' diverse concepts and talent.
