Biography
Jane has extensive experience as a leader with her outstanding trio, singing background and solo on national television and radio commercials and singing
background for many artists’ albums including Barry Manilow.
She has sung with Patti Austin, Valerie Simpson, and Shawn Colvin, to name a few, for Chevrolet, Bain de Soleil, Freedent Gum etc.
Jane also has a very strong background in theatre, including Off Broadway with Butterfly McQueen, The Jazz Mobile series of Joe Papp’s New York Shakespeare Festival Theatre and she has sung with great artists:
Thad Jones, Mel Lewis, Dick Oatts, George Mraz, Roland Hanna, Jon Faddis, Hal Vick, Woody Shaw, Bob De Vos, Kenny Rankin, Freddie Waites, Vic Juris, Walt Weiskopf, John Mosca, Gerry Neiwood, Andy Fusco, Sal Bernardi, Charlie Smalls(composer of The Wiz”) to name a few.
Jane has a large fan base in the NY/NJ area and currently performs regularly in clubs, jazz festivals and concerts on the East Coast, with her trio. .
