Michael shines on stage and communicates a depth that fuels the eclectic and intense music of her heartstrings. Howling sultry lyrics layered with emotion and otherworldly meaning, she dances uncensored and unforgiving for her fans, her hands beating fearless control out of her six stringed companions. Her latest full-length studio recording, Naked, showcases her instrumental savoir-faire on guitar, bass, saxophone, cello, piano and percussion. She has been ascribed “Prince-like abilities”, being a formidable rock guitarist / multi-instrumentalist, as well as composer and performer. She captures the originality of David Bowie, the rock of PJ Harvey and Patti Smith, the sensuality of Tori Amos, the skill and intellect of predecessors such as Ani Difranco and Bob Dylan.

Michael coined the genre "sensual creature rock." Her songs are a collage of modern-day rhapsodies and variations of sonatas- her own unique song forms. Michael Scott Parker not only invented her own language, but opened the Pink Elephant Recording studio, where she produces and collaborates with top flight musicians of her choice. The studio has moved with her from Colorado to San Francisco, to Austin, where she is currently recording her much anticipated fifth album, Creature Sessions. Michael Scott Parker of Oh My! Wins Best Solo Singer Songwriter for Popular Music in the Peak Area Performance and Artists Awards (PAPAAs) in Colorado Springs, September 2005! She was awarded by the Pike’s Peak Arts Council at a red carpet affair.
Michael Scott Parker has been recognized with a “Best of the Springs 2006” award by the Colorado Springs Gazette, in the category of Best Singer-Songwriter-Artist-Pilates Instructor!
Oh My!’s song “Faithbound” won a Great American Songwriting Contest Honor Award for 2003.
