C696 embodies a defined musical style that is fresh, exciting and encompasses the conflict between adrenaline and serenity.
Since their debut CD release "The Evolution Control Hacker", their music has travelled the globe and is currently being played in: Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Mexico, Australia, Great Britain, Sweden and the U.S. Their single "Move" has been featured on the Fox Network and Versus' PBR (Professional Bull Riders) as well as the extreme snowmobile motion picture Braaap 8 "Krazy 8". In March 2009, Frank Labelle was nominated for the songwriter of the year award by Music Film and Motion for the song "WYSIWYG". The song "Ride" is currently featured on "Knarly 9" Braaap's newest release.
Influenced by great Rock and Alternative bands throughout the ages, C696 has a unique sound that cannot be allocated into a specific genre of music. Emitting raw emotion and soul, this band is both exhilarating and enticing.
