Biography
Tim Culling grew up in San Pedro, CA. The same town that produced Mike Watt, Art Pepper and Charles Bukowsky. Ever since the first time he picked up the guitar, he has always written songs. His inspirations over the years include The Clash, The Replacements, Paul Weller and Bob Dylan. And now, dozens of bands and projects later, his latest CD reflects on this journey and the ghosts of the past.
Tim recorded the songs at Skylab Studios with the help of producer/engineer Tommy Dietrick and drummer Joel Patterson, both of the L.A. based band Sky Parade. Tim wrote all the music, performed the vocals and played guitar, bass, organ and melodica on the CD. He is currently performing in the Los Angeles area.
