Biography
John Connolly is a gutsy songwriter with a strong stage presence. He spent much of the past year touring and made two visits to Nashville with the goal of bringing his songwriting to a world-class level. A new acoustic EP is due out in the spring documenting his latest work.
John's Debut Album won 3 PEI Music Awards in 2009: Album Of The Year, Alternative Recording Of The Year and Male Vocalist Of The Year.
John has been involved in numerous creative projects including Producer for Meaghan Blanchard’s album "Changing Things" (4 PEI Music Awards, 2 ECMA Nominations), Featured Performer with The Charlottetown Festival and Musical Director for the Opening Ceremonies of The 2009 Canada Games.
