Artist Information Biography Pamela G Biography Described as sassy, but classy, sophisticated, yet soulful, Pamela G has earned a well-deserved reputation for her dynamic vocal skills. Born in San Bernardino, California, Pamela G began her vocal career by singing in the church, and entertaining family and friends. News about her talent spread quickly, and she soon started receiving requests to appear at a multitude of weddings, as well as local Jazz and Blues clubs. Her first CD, It's A "G" Thang, has sold over 10,000 copies. Her latest CD, Smooth but DEADLY, which is a mixture of Blues and Jazz originals, was released June 7, 2007. Pamela G has appeared with many top quality well known Blues and Jazz musicians through out her career. Such as Jeff Lorber, Herbie Hancock, and Buddy Guy, just to name a few. So far, life has been really good for Pamela G. She won both titles for Best Blues, and Best Female Performer for the Inland Empire and Orange County in 2006, 2007, and 2008. Her musical influences are Etta James, Gladys Knight, Barbara Streisand, Billy Holiday, Sarah Vaughn, Phyllis Hyman, Quincy Jones and Aretha Franklin. Pamela G gives foot stomping and hand clapping performances and is strong with her convictions as well as her family and fans. She is proud of how God has blessed her in all of her accomplishments, and she looks forward to becoming the next Grammy DIVA!
