From bars to barn parties this band has been making its way into the scene ever since 2006. With their eclectic roots, Fletcher's Grove combines tight vocal harmonies, with a soulful-jamming-jazz-influenced guitar duo, backed up by a slapping bass, and a driving drum ensemble. Fletcher’s Grove is merging the classic sounds of the 60’s with rudiments of funk fusion, and a little jazz flute into a high energy sound that keeps groovin’. This gives the younger crowed a beat to get down to while reminding the older crowed of those classic sounds.
The five-man-band is made up of Ryan Krofcheck (Vocals/Ryth. Guitar), Matt Marion (Vocals/Percussion), Wes Hager (Lead Guitar/Flute), Taylor Pratt (Bass), and Adam Greene (Drums). They have a wide range of influences such as The Grateful Dead, Phish, The Beatles, Rusted Root, Widespread Panic and Carlos Santana. Aside from the music they grew up on their musical education throughout high school and college contributes to the improvisational jams and intricate song writing. Throughout the show the improvisational jams keep everyone suspended and on their feet, making sure they won’t miss the next flute solo.
In the fall of 2008, Fletcher’s Grove recorded and released a 3 song demo with Brick & Stone Sound out of Nashville, Tennessee. Since then, the band has signed with Night Sky Entertainment out of Nashville, and have been producing fresh material at various live shows. They are planning to head back to the studio to complete their first full album, with talk about a US college tour, and world-wide USO tour to promote the album world-wide.
