Artist Information Biography Remember when you first heard The Beatles, U2, Coldplay or Maroon 5? What did their music have in common? Probably not much except for your need to hear them again and again. That's the buzz you get from Redstone Hall. While their sound is built on a foundation of classic rock, it incorporates an exciting array of rock, pop and soul ingredients that are melodic, edgy, diverse, and contemporary. Their live shows deliver accomplished vocals, explosive guitar playing and addictive melodies in songs written primarily by their lead singer and frontman. The writing is hauntingly familiar, yet excitingly new and courageously different. Once you experience their magic, you'll know why they're in a class of their own, why REDSTONE HALL is the newest, must-see, up-and-coming rock band on the music scene today...and why they were chosen for MUSIC CONNECTION MAGAZINE'S TOP 100 UNSIGNED BANDS for 2008. Here's what Gerald Casale, founder of DEVO, had to say after seeing them live: "Imagine! In the devolved world we live in, here's four guys that can actually sing and play great songs they wrote without the help of a computer!!! And the lead singer is a girl magnet! Amazing and unbelievable!! Steven Rothstein, Zack Hall, Mac Hadar and Mike Nussbaum were born and raised in Los Angeles. Hometown favorites, they consistently pack many L.A. venues including The Roxy, Whiskey, Molly Malones, KeyClub, Hard Rock Cafe, B.B. King's Blues Club, Bovard Hall (USC), Dragonfly and the Viper Room to name a few. At the South By Southwest (SXSW) music festival in Austin, they played venues that included Peckerheads, GRUV, HiLo, The Blind Pig Pub and The Ranch. The band was selected to perform this year at UNIVERSAL CITYWALK'S SUMMER CONCERT SERIES (see review on Press page) and the AMPLIFY MUSIC FESTIVAL in Las Vegas playing there at Jillian's where they were chosen as a "Best of Showcase" finalist. Their song, SHAME, won honorable mention at the Malibu Music Awards and they were chosen to perform on an episode of a new VH1 TV series, TEEN IDOL. REDSTONE HALL isn't just evolution, it's revolution. Are they unsigned? Yeah. Unknown? Sort of. Irresistible? Definitely! They represent the best of what music today has to offer - bridging the gap between the old and the now - while giving birth to the next generation of popular music.
