Biography
Consisted of 6 young guys (and one blond gal on the bass), Flow, who has recently been hailed as "the best band Israel has to offer", who were crowned "The Next Big Thing in Israeli music" and who were nominated for the Hollywood Music Awards Band of the Year, creates music that deals with the day-to-day highs and lows, emotional “peaks and valleys”,  and with the experiences, pain and other emotions (sometimes, of those who have experienced the day-to-day life at Israel's wars). US critics have recently praised Flow, writing: "...Dramatic, passionate and expansive like U2's early albums, the majesty of Flow is somehow both epic and humble, delivered with an almost religious fervor..." and "...their version of Prog feels like an open fire hydrant of emotions and musical ideas. Unlike some Prog, Flow's integration of it is less like a math project and more like a rush of blood to the head...", "...A more American and sophisticated version of Coldplay...". Surprised by its Israeli origins, music critics wrote: "...I'm not sure a lot of people are associating the country of Israel with great rock music yet but it's time to change that perception because Flow is indeed a great rock band.  Is Tel Aviv the next Seattle?...", and have gone further to describe their music with lines such as - "... I already know my description will not do the music justice. Flow is a band you're going to want to hear. You can expect a unique and original sound, beautiful melodies and harmonies. Something the US has really been waiting for...". Oh, and some critics thought you should be warned: "...among the beautiful melodies and vocals, expect to hear some angst...". The band's latest achievements include their Rock anthem "Follow Me" being chosen as Vienna's (Austria...) anthem for the European Football championship and their song "Falls" being chosen as the anthem of the International "Free Hugs Campaign".
Now, after recent tour of the US, which included a highlight performance at the prestigious Midpoint Festival (a show that was later on officially crowned as one of the top 10 musical events of 2008 in Cincinnati), Flow is planning the touring schedule for next year...
