Artist Information Biography "We walk by faith, not by sight." This scripture (2nd Corinthians 5:7) is a prime example of the spiritual life that Calen Johnson lives. Known in the world of music as Lyrical Preacher and his music-spawning alias NELAC, he is a talented individual that hails from the DMV (DC, Maryland, & Virgina) area, with a mission to change and save peoples lives and spirits across the world with his music. His expertise includes that of acting, singing, rapping, producing, songwriting and music composing; these talents are being put into good use as he performs in the Atlanta-Metropolitan area, and other parts of the United States and the world under the management of MajorSmart Entertainment. He is the owner and CEO of Thief in the Night 152 Productions and Nelac Publishing, two companies created in 2003--with the help of his father and business investor, Camero Johnson--for the sole purpose of creating quality music and presenting it to the world. A 2005 graduate of Morehouse College, Calen is currently working hard to increase the awareness of his music independently while promoting his first independent release, a gospel album titled "Gods Time", and developing other solo projects. He is an active member of the AFTRA, SAG, ASCAP, Dynamic Producer, and Urban Gospel Alliance. Now residing in Douglasville, Georgia, he is currently working on various artist collaborations and new projects, including his second full-length album.
