Biography
Music keeps me healthy emotionally and mentally. Started playing the blues in 1970 (about what happened before) -- been playing the blues since about what happens now and then. I reckon the day I stop paying the dues is the day I stop playing the blues -- everybody pays -- that's life. Influences include hard times, good times, Jeff Beck, Keith Richards, Leo Kottke, Steve Miller, Ry Cooder, Mark Knopfler, Chicago and SE Texas Blues artists, et al.
Instrumentation
Jim Shaw: Gretsch solid and Schecter hollow body electric guitars. Glass slide. I whistle from time to time.
