Biography
AngleStone formed in the spring of 2008 after a chance meeting brought together singer/song writer/guitarist Brian Kiesel and drummer Michael Kaplan.  An on-line search for a bassist quickly produced Jeff Maus and AngleStone was formed.  The chemistry that developed between the 3 veteran musician soon ended any notions of adding additional players.

Within several months AngleStone was entertaining patrons in local coffee houses and small restaurants in Maryland.  Fellow musicians were immediately impressed by the band's tight, polished, innovative style and listeners of all ages were touched by the lyrical messages of hope, love, forgiveness and compassion  drawn from the band member's Christian faith.

AngleStone weaves elements of funk, reggae, blues, modern rock and even swing into melodic material that is accessible to general audiences while providing the right amount of twists, turns, timing changes and instrumental solos to peak the interest of musical aficionados.  Their sound is often classified as classic rock but it does not always fit neatly into that genre.

AngleStone's music is always entertaining, uplifting and family friendly.  They are a popular act at festivals, carnivals, churches, coffee houses, restaurants, youth events, parties, retreats, etc.

In June of 2009 AngleStone released it's debut CD "There Is The Hope".
