Biography
Described as "Original... great insight" by a reviewer at We7.com 'The Magical Mirror' is Jeanie's debut album includes 10 of her compositions and is due for release in 2009.  It is a reflection of her personal experiences of life thus far - observations of those close to her - family, friends, lovers and nemeses. 

Jeanie has already released two 6 track EPs; one is a self titled taster of the forthcoming album and the other is a collection of covers recorded by the Jeanie Barton Quartet, entiled 'Jazz and Cocktails'.  Downloads are available from iTunes and amazon.com search for 'Jeanie Barton'

When playing live, Jeanie and her musicians pride themsleves on expanding the Real Book - performing originals alongside jazz classics and mixing in some more contemporary favourites.
