*Jermaine & Jermaine Servants of U Lord
In the 2006th year, two young men from Detroit, Mi embarked on the Journey of their lives. While driving home from a Youth conference the two shared visions of ministry, almost instantly the group was formed. Jermaine Johnson liked the name �Jay & Jay� while Jermaine James preferred the name �Soul�. The solution? To combine the names (Jay & Jay Soul) standing for �Jermaine & Jermaine, Servants of U Lord�. So these young men traveled the city with their wives (in the audience) and a 3 piece band preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The sound can be described as a fusion of Rap, Worship, and Song with a sincerity that will speak to the Soul.
Approximately one year into Ministry another piece was added to the puzzle. Jay & Jay reached out to Minister Gerard Brooks to be featured on the song �Passion�. Shortly afterward Gerard began performing �Passion� live with Jay & Jay and the rest is history. This is an unfinished story worth writing, reading, and watching, so be on the lookout for the group that has already opened concerts for the likes of Dorinda Clark-Cole of the legendary Clark Sisters, Kierra �Ki-Ki� Sheard, Marvin Winans Jr., and Bill Moss Jr.
Jay & Jay S.O.U.L. is currently promoting their Debut Album �AudioVision�, released as a special limited edition CD on September 20, 2008�WHOA!!
