Biography
HIGHWAY BLONDE (formerly known as Smart Artists) are regarded by many as one of the most dynamic up and coming modern rock bands in the Australia.
The band has a considerable following along the east coast with their latest video clip ‘Inside Moves’ winning the 2009 Pacific Film and Television prize for Best Independent Category.
And the bands formula for success ….. avoid trends, write cool songs and deliver a brand of modern rock full of catchy chorus and crunchy guitars. Sounds simple really.
Fans of bands such as The Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon and The Killers have been cranking Smart Artists latest singles ('Inside Moves' and 'Annie') on over 200 radio stations throughout 20 countries.
Both songs feature on the new self titled album 'Highway Blonde' due for release late November.
With their eyes set firmly on consolidating their recent successes, the band is busy wooing audiences along the east coast of Australia.
