The innovative Ambisonic makes this duo sound like a dozen musicians, masterminding jazzbox guitars, Moog synthesizers, vintage bass foot pedals, drums, piano, Theremin, Stylophone, and whatever else is at hand. Ambisonic’s genre-defying sounds of spontaneity and sonic creativity embody an exciting and unique melding of electronica, rock, jazz, improvisation and music from planets you’ve never even heard of. Yet.
Erik and Paul have recorded and toured extensively, including several albums and countless gigs across Canada, United States, and the UK. The duo have distilled their distinct influences – progressive rock, spaghetti western soundtracks, Kurt Vonnegut novels – into a unified power blast of instrumental heights.
The band has just completed work on their forthcoming debut album, "Ambisonic."
