Biography Dallas based singer songwriter Tim Miller burst on to the scene with his album Out Of The Box, quickly leading to a growing reputation for engaging, mature songwriting and emotionally charged live shows, a loyal fan base and licensing agreements for MTV's My Super Sweet 16, Real World, Road Rules and The Challenge. Adelaide, Tim's second release, has garnered airplay at scores of radio stations nationwide, a Paste Magazine Recommends selection, and has been licensed for MTV's Real World, Road Rules, The Challenge, The Hills, The City, The Stylist, Parental Control; Oxygen Network's Bad Girls Club; E! Network's Keeping up with the Kardashians, and Khloe and Kourtney Take Miami. Produced by Chris Bell (Erykah Badu, Polyphonic Spree, Eagles) and mastered by Adam Ayan (Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, Phish, Ani DiFranco), Adelaide stands out from the crowd of cookie cutter singles with its raw honesty, sonic integrity and artistic vision. About Sessions Lamar: The Sessions Lamar EP is the highly anticipated follow up to last year's critically acclaimed Adelaide. To give an analog rich sound to Tim's signature acoustic rock vibe, Adelaide was recorded to tape using vintage instruments including Mellotron, Hammond B-3 and Rhodes. For the Sessions Lamar EP, Tim now pares down the production to focus on what he's best at: the song. Featuring three songs from Adelaide, a new single, as well as a cover, Sessions Lamar goes straight to Tims roots; a man and his acoustic guitar. The minimal production showcases Tim's voice, bringing the lyrics to the forefront and straight to the listener. Without pretense, the Sessions Lamar EP is beautifully simple and pure. "In addition to releasing a new single, I wanted to take a few songs from Adelaide and completely strip them down - present them in a raw, intimate and vulnerable manner - as if I were just sitting in front of you with my guitar and that's it. I wanted to do the same thing with Yusuf Islam's (Cat Stevens) Father and Son - a song I've always been inspired by." - Tim Miller PRAISE FOR TIM MILLER Paste Magazine Recommends - July 2008 "...Miller has honed his craft into beautiful songs..." - Left of the Dial A very persuasive and effortless delivery that wraps around the listener. 4 stars - All Access Magazine "[D]ynamic songwriting. Tim Miller is definitely here to stay and I wouldn't be surprised if very soon we start hearing his songs in more mainstream outlets." - Muzikreviews.com Great songwriting, a wonderful smooth voice, topnotch musicianship, and heart. - Wildy's World Misc Accomplishments: • The album Adelaide licensed by the following shows: Bunim Murray MTV ROAD RULES; Bunim Murray MTV REAL WORLD; Bunim Murray MTV ROAD RULES/ REAL WORLD CHALLENGE; Oxygen Network BAD GIRLS CLUB; MTV Network THE CITY; MTV Network THE STYLIST; MTV Network THE HILLS; E!
