Biography
City of Sound is currently demoing songs for new CDs and making winter & spring touring plans.
BAND SPEC'S:
- members have been playing music together live since 2001
- formed in the fall of 2006 on the basis of soul-grabbing music. Thus far, successfully.
- recorded a demo in the winter of '06/07 while Daniel Morrison, attended McNally Smith College of Music
- picked to play the Ernie Ball Stage of the 2007 Vans Warped Tour
- Winter 2008, COS began writing for their debut full-length that they would produce, engineer, and mix themselves.
- January 25, 2009 - COS independently released their debut full-length, "L'implosion" at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis and continued to tour and work on new material throughout the spring
- July '09 - Alternative Press Magazine featured City of Sound as an "AP Recommended Unsigned Band" (w/ Blink-182 on the cover)
