Biography
JazzKamikaze is a group of talented young Scandinavian musicians. Words do not do this band justice. They can transition from a 45 second supersonic, ultra fast Jazz piece that leaves your head spinning, to an 8 minute rock opera masterpiece reminiscent of Pink Floyd or Genesis. Fans of this band can be 16 years old or 80 years old. They are true showmen and extremely talented, and well trained musicians, This excerpt from their Facebook profile says it all!

SUPERSONIC REVOLUTIONS is the title of JazzKamikaze's new album which hits earth late summer 2009. The album marks a new chapter of musical genres and sends the five scandinavian captains of the Kamikaze-super-spaceship on far more pioneering adventures. "Supersonic Revolutions" is the primitive forces of rock music mixed with intricate jazz progressions, the pulsating beats of electronica, the grandiosity of classical music performed with the attitude of punk. Since the arrival of the band back in 2005 JazzKamikaze has established themselves in record-breaking-time internationally as a fiercely and powerful unit. As early as 2005 they won "Young Jazz" and "Young Nordic Jazz Comets", two prestigious talent competitions in Northern Europe. This marked the take off of one the most international touring acts in Denmark in recent years with around 75 concerts a year on 5 continents. "The title is ambiguous. It's about out our inner revolution and evolution as a band but more importantly, it reflects our wish to revolte music of today. The supersonic element comes natural... it's JazzKamikaze"
