Artist Information Biography ZenBeer. Solo bass for the brain, heart and sense of humour since 2003. After a series of interesting home recordings (later re-released), ZenBeer's debut full-length album Grand Unified Chaos was recorded in 2005. A distribution deal with Philadelphia e-label ItsAboutMusic followed soon after. ZenBeer performed at the 2007 Lodo Bass Bash in Denver, CO with the likes of Jean Baudin, Yves Carbonne, Jeff Schmidt, Trip Wamsley and Darren Michaels. Largely due to his solo bass work, Adam was sponsored to attend the Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, California - the largest music industry trade show in the world - in 2008 and 2009 by Bee Basses and APC Basses, respectively. Adam also endorses JAF Basses (www.jafbasses.com). 2009 has seen the release of the third ZenBeer disc, shows in California and another Denver clinic coming up. An eclectic mix of styles ranging from ambient to funk to progressive rock, the ZenBeer experience involves extended-range basses, intricate layered loops, percussive lines you might think were played on drums, highly melodic leads, effects both subtle and crazy, and much more. The result is a surprisingly full sound, leaving the listener with an experience like no other, added to an engaging and entertaining stage show. This is most definitely not your average bassist.
