Biography
Regularly performing in premier clubs such as Chicago's Double Door and New York's Mercury Lounge, ON A SUN have garnered numerous accolades as well as invitations to major showcases and festivals throughout the country.
The travels of ON A SUN have had them supporting a diverse array of acts including Alice In Chains, Wolfmother, Coheed and Cambria, Stereophonics, The Fray, Soul Asylum, Absent Star, Wax On Radio, Quietdrive, The North Atlantic and The Working Title to name a few.
In addition to new tracking at Butch Vig's Smart Studios (Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, U2, Beck, Garbage, Motion City Soundtrack, Fall Out Boy and more), their growing buzz has attracted producer Johnny K (Plain White T's, Finger Eleven, Disturbed, 3 Doors Down, Academy Is, Kill Hannah...) and they've begun work together at his Groovemaster Studios as well, with the current single - Takin' Off - released the summer of 2007.
Having been one of ten artists featured in "Best of Around Hear 2006" in the nation's third largest market by Chicago's Illinois Entertainer magazine, as well as blazing through four shows in Austin during South by Southwest 2007 and securing an invitation to the Monolith Festival at Red Rocks, ON A SUN is definitely on the rise.
