Biography
The 'Tones perform a sassy collection of tunes both old and new - waxing sultry and sentimental one moment, breaking out the bass and beat the next. All of our members are graduates of the Seven Sisters Colleges. Since 2001, we have delighted audiences from SoHo to the Bronx, from the Upper East Side to the West Village, at several of NYC's top venues. With booming basses and sopranos that chime like bells, we are as diverse in our interests and occupations as a group of Seven Sisters-bred babes can be, but we all have one thing in common: we love to make music, especially with one another.
