Artist Information Biography Beliss is the Portland-based acoustic sister-duo specializing in original compositions. With genetically-blended voices and bluesy rhythms, Beliss conjurs stories of love, peace, earthly predicament and human evolution. Comprised of Belinda (upright bass, voice) and Melissa (guitar & ukulele, voice), the sisters of Beliss draw on vast experience in multiple genres to create a sound that is uniquely compelling. Influences include Bobbie Gentry, Bjork, Joni Mitchell, Dolly Parton, Malvina Reynolds, Bach, The Beatles, and so many more.
