Artist Information

Biography
Sonar is known for their vocal harmony arrangements and high energy rock & roll, creating a unique vibe that can only be described as infectious. Not afraid to write interesting compositions with catchy hooks, the audience is left with a lasting impression that keeps them coming back for more. Sonar features Andrew Ranieri, lead vocals and guitar, Elliott James, drums and vocals, Chris Sullivan, guitar and vocals, Rob Campbell, bass guitar and vocals and Pete Orenstein, B-3 organ and vocals.

Sonar made a name for itself within Central Florida, having been described as "the best live show" by top local venues and promoters. They brought the house down when opening for Jam/World band Rusted Root during a sold out show at the House Blues Orlando, and after performing at other notable venues throughout the Eastern United States, Sonar has gained a lot of momentum. They have recently spread to British and other European airways and were voted best rock for Pulse Radio Nine weeks in a row. The band was also featured in High Times online magazine as best unsigned artist. Indeed, Sonar is poised for continued success.

Reviews:

Superfly Productions:(5 out of 5 stars)
Simply timeless Americana Rock n Roll.

Ranging from trippy intros to gigantic rock climaxes, this album has it all. Catchy hooks and groove ala the Allman bros. Considering whats out there today this could be one the most refreshing and rewarding listening experience. And the best part of it is that they produced the whole album. It shows creative craftsmanship and extreme passion.

Atlantic Records AR: (4 out of 5 stars)
Excellent songwriting and monster guitar groove

The harmonies are as capativating as CSNY and the blend of the four voices really accentuates the melodies and they sound completely original. However, I think the songs could be a little more polished, but they did a great job of crafting a complete album. Having seen them perform, this a band to check out.
