Biography The Buckners play a brand of guitar pop that is both smart and powerful, with a few quirks thrown in for good measure. As Honor Award Recipients in the "100% Music Songwriting Contest," the group has played countless shows throughout the Northeast, and fans old and new are psyched about the band’s latest EP "See You in Court." Memorable, sing-along melodies, strong harmonies, and contrasting guitar parts are always prominent. The band's rhythm section is versatile enough to offer a light touch for “jangle-pop” tunes, but can up the ante when needed for "bigger" rock songs. The Buckners write clever and sometimes poignant lyrics without relying on tired vocabulary. Overall, the band has embraced references to artists including Weezer, They Might Be Giants, and the Meat Puppets. Instrumentation Luke McInnis (vocals/guitar) Jim Collins (vocals/bass) Tony Dintino (drums/vocals) Don Woodward (guitar) Discography Check out mp3's from our records by clicking on the Audio tab (above)!
