Artist Information Biography Recently, after a packed show at NYC’s The Bitter End, Travis Rocco ended up at a Tribeca roof top party overlooking the city skyline. Since there was no music at the party, Travis decided to play an impromptu concert. Before long, a couple hundred people had gathered on the multilevel roof and Travis played into the night. Afterwards, Travis was reloading his van on the street below and a few guys (who weren’t at the party) approached. “Are you Travis Rocco?” they asked. Travis, slightly puzzled, replied yes and one of the three said, “I told you – pay up!” It seems the three had heard Travis from the roof and recognized him from a set he played earlier that day in midtown’s Bryant Park. That random event confirms what a growing number of people already know: Travis Rocco has a distinct sound, and it is a sound worth remembering. In just five years of pursuing his music career, Travis Rocco has gained the experience of an industry veteran. While leading the successful pop/rock band which bears his name (Travis Rocco Band), Travis has performed over 400 live shows, many with notable national acts including O.A.R., and Gavin Degraw. While Travis still performs with his 5-6 member rock band, his acoustic show is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after acts in the college market.
