Artist Information Biography Guitarist/ vocalist Pete Pidgeon has recorded his music with Levon Helm of The Band and Nate Albert of Mighty Mighty Bosstones, been bandmates with Grammy-nominated Killswitch Engage drummer Justin Foley, written music recorded by Beyonce drummer Nikki Glaspie for Sony BMG, been a member of Blue Man Group and has performed with Kanye West drummer Charles Haynes. Pete’s 2007 album “Doubt Is For Losers”, which charted at #3 on the The College Radio Top 200, was recorded at Radiohead producer Paul Kolderie's Camp Street Studios with the assistance of Grammy-winner Adam Taylor. The rhythm section on the disc is comprised of John Scofield/ DAP Kings drummer Eric Kalb and John Brown’s Body bassist Nate Edgar. Arcoda, the name of Pete’s rotating backing band, has included Soulive member/ Dave Matthews Band guest Sam Kininger in the horn section. Pidgeon’s 2005 release “Happy Song EP” was mentored by Vertical Horizon/ Doobie Brothers drummer Ed Toth and was picked up by over 2000 people. Pete is an active producer based in Brooklyn, NY managing his company Now Power Productions (www.NowPowerProductions.com). He co-produced and played guitar on Vonrenzo’s “Indica Dove Sei” alongside Modest Mouse/ The Hives producer Kyle “Slick” Johnson and works with artists from all across the world in all styles. Giving back to the community, Pete was invited to speak to addiction-addled teens at Road Recovery following producer Steve Lillywhite and Metallica bassist James Hetfield. Having toured the U.S. as a lighting director for The Slip, written a book on an ill-fated trip to Virginia (www.Hampton98.com), acted in film, taken award-winning photography, started the Northeast in-home lesson business Pete Pidgeon Music School and won a remote control car contest at the public library in junior high school, Pete doesn’t sleep, ever.
