Biography
Gary Jackson is a versatile and talented musician that can play as a solo artist or with his band. Gary is from Akron, Ohio.
His early influences were rooted in the blues and has recently blended his love of the acoustic guitar, early folk music, and the soul of the blues into a unique sound. He has produced one CD, Wounded Healers, and is currently working on his new effort, Life’s Too Short.

Gary’s unique finger style guitar playing fits perfectly with more relaxed venues where the music blends with the event.
He can also perform as a solo singer/songwriter.
During these types of engagements Gary uses an electronic sampler that allows him to record one guitar part in real-time and then play a second guitar part at the same time.
This acoustic blend coupled with his original compositions provides a unique and entertaining combination.

Gary can also play with portions of his band or a full group. The band consists of Gary on guitar and vocals backed up by piano, bass, drums, and harmonica. The full band performances provide a great showcase for Gary’s unique and powerful original material.
