The "Second Wind Bandits" perform songs you can rock to and sing along with.Our original songs are stories about life's journey....
The SWBs influences are many and diverse....and we play many different genres of music in each set.....folk rock,blues,folky blues,folk,classic rock,and even bluegrass and lite jazz.....every song sets a mood....every song tells a story....
The SWBs have been well received by publications and other sources including the Washington City Paper "In addition to captivating originals, Bill offered tasty Dylan and Beatles covers—not something many can pull off..." and Music Monthly, describing Bill's first album as "...courageous," demonstrating a " love of music, of friends, of spouse, of children, of freedom, of country, of life itself." Songs from both albums are currently getting airplay all over the world....USA,Canada,Australia,Netherlands,Germany,even Japan....and on many internet stations,including Awesome Radio,WRRW,WAMU,the ColoradoWave,...many more.
Bill was named Folk Artist of the Year 2006 by New Artist Radio...Ooh Rah won GOLD in the 2007 Mid Atlantic Song Contest....multiple songs from the 2007 Resilient Heart Album have been selected for numerous CD compilations,including Acoustic Rainbow Vol.30 and Best New Bands Vol.2 and 3.....Resilient Heart made the AMA charts in 2007,and songs from this eclectic folk rock/roots rock album are still played on stations the world over.
The guys are working for a new released in fall 08 tentatively titled " A Gift of Love."

2007 Release:Second Wind Bandits- Resilient Heart,which was on the AMA charts during 2007...songs from the album are currently played on stations in the US,Canada,Europe,Austalia and Japan....2008 release "A Gift of Love" is now out there...this 11 track cd has already been called " brilliant....one of the albums of the year..."FM101...the cd has been awarded a "Grindie" by Radioindy....and the band has reached the #1 ranking on www.showcaseyourmusic.com ......(as of 4/7/09)
