On her own or with her band ‘Smash and the Fakey Luau’, Smashlee writes and performs her own charming hybrid of original surf rock and retro-pop.
This Christmas, Ashleigh announces the release of her first full-length CD project, “Peace, Love, Joy - Ashleigh Somerville at Christmas". It’s a joyfully eclectic concoction made up of fun, fresh renditions of classics like Little Drummer Boy, a beautifully haunting version of The Huron Carol, and a handful of sparkling originals, like ‘Joe the Snowman’, hailed as a Canadian classic-in-the-making!
