Artist Information Biography When people speak of a gifted individual, it is usually one particular talent an individual possesses they refer to. Such a gift is honed and crafted, nurtured and grown. When speaking of  Goldenchild, one cannot confine him to a particular gift--he has many. Beginning with his first love, Hip-Hop, Goldenchild is an emcee that produces his music. Goldenchild has been rhyming, and producing tracks for many years. Listening to one of Goldenchild's songs is like watching rhythmic tunes and lyrical expertise make love to sound waves. It is an experience of his mind, a trip through his heart, only to have it grab on to your soul. The Goldenchild possesses the musical gift, the ability to compose, and the finesse to produce as a teacher amongst students. Writing lyrics to rhymes, poetry, and stories inspired Goldenchild try his hand at song writing and production for others. He is currently writing and co-producing selected works with his "HIP HOP SOUL REGGAELUTIONARY" band THE CHOSEN. The Chosen was born from the commitment of three individual musicians with a passion for music. As "The Chosen" we combined our love for Hip Hop, Classic Soul/Funk and Reggae creating a sound undeniably our own drawing new members to our movement. Having a sound that defined us, The Chosen has been rocking together for two years in clubs, bars and lounges all over New York City, the US, Caribbean and Europe. We are currently working on recording our first live album and continuing to work to further expand our sound, fanbase and grow as musicians. Picture Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder blending with Marvin Gaye stylized like Mos Def bringing out the sound and feel vintage Hip Hop Soul. Think of individuals across cultures joining as one people. By Jah’s grace, The Chosen is a band in a class of its own. With music fusions from across genres, a distinctive note with a groove is born. Each vocalist and musician comes together as a family and as such complement the weaknesses and strengths of one another lacing all rhythms and sounds in symphonic harmonization. We come together as one, personifying our music with a personality that is felt by one and all.
