Artist Information Biography The Michael E. Thomas Band is a 3-piece Belfast rock band featuring guitarist/vocalist Michael E. Thomas. The band formed in 2004 in Northern Ireland where they are based. The Michael E. Thomas Band has classic influences such as Thin Lizzy/The James Gang/Deep Purple and Jimi Hendrix/White Stripes. Their 4th album "Wreckless Abandon" was recorded and mixed in October 2005 and released in May 2006. It features Marcelo Gilberto(Astrud Gilberto Band) on 4/6/12-string bass and Carlo Latorraca (Joe Lynn Turner Band)on drums. The band performs in the UK, Ireland and America.
