Artist Information Biography Modernboys Moderngirls (MBMG) first gained buzz in the summer of 2008 when they were invited to perform at North By Northeast (NXNE) festival and Edgefest all before even releasing an album. With growing attention, MBMG released an early cut of their debut album to excellent reviews across Canada and strong airplay on campus radio stations, reaching #8 on the CBCRadio3 charts as well as garnering a CBCRadio3 Bucky Award nomination. After noteworthy appearances at Halifax Pop Explosion and Canadian Music Week, on September 15, 2009, MBMG released their completed debut album, I Might As Well Break It.
