Biography Juliana Finch was raised in the South, in an Italian-American family, listening to Irish music. Her songwriting style reflects that bizarre cocktail. Juliana has most recently been compared to Shawn Colvin, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and Natalie Merchant. She loves playing music festivals and house concerts. Juliana has been featured at these festivals and conferences: Bele Chere festival in Asheville, NC Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artists Showcase Atlantis Music Conference & Festival Ladyfest South She has played songwriter showcases at such iconic venues as Eddie's Attic in Atlanta (Where John Mayer and Shawn Mullins got their start), the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, and been featured at 99x's Unplugged In The Park Summer Concert Series. Juliana is a member of the Folk Alliance and the Nashville Songwriters Association. She's also a professional eavesdropper, a perpetual student, and an amateur chef.
