These young performers combined have had a chance to open and/or perform with many notable acts including Dr John,Phil Guy,Buddy Guy,Little Ed and the Blues Imperials,Edgar Winter,Rick Derringer,Nick Moss,Shemeika Copeland and The Homemade Jamz Blues Band etc.
Both of these young performers have played at many local and U.S. based festivals including The Windsor Blues Fest,Burlington Jazz and Blues Fest,Orangeville Jazz and Blues fest,SouthSide Shuffle,Unionville Jazz and Blues Fest,International Blues Challenge in Memphis,WC Handy Festival- Muscle Shoals AL,Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival - Helena Ar,NXNE -Toronto,Harvest Jazz and Blues Fest-Fredericton,The CNE-Toronto.
Time will tell what the future holds for these promising young musicians.

The Bluesers are :
Chris Cotton (age 16) Guitar- Chris is a Blues guitarist who has learned to play with timing and feel well beyond his years. He appreciates all forms of music. His influences range from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Jimi Hendrix
Mike Cotton Jr (age 18) Drums - Mike is Blues drummer who has been playing for 12 years. His influences range from B.B. King, Hound Dog Taylor to Metallica. He appreciates all forms of music. His favorite songs are , Help Me, and The Thrill is Gone.

John Cotton - Bass - John started playing when he rediscovered the Blues. An idea was presented to develop a diverse band with young musicians to play for their peers, which allowed them to hear the music from a young perspective.

"It's A Pity " is receiving XM Radio Airplay
The Bluesers are on the latest Blues Revue Magazine Compilation CD along with Robert Cray, Ike Turner and Aynsley Lister ( "It's A Pity " follows Robert Cray ).
It's Official The Bluesers are going to Memphis for their second appearance at The International Blues Challenge in Memphis Feb1-3/07, " Shut The Front Door" has been entered in the "Best Self Produced CD" category .They are proud to represent the - Canada South Blues Society
The Bluesers will also be making a showcase appearance at "The Millenium Music Conference" Feb15/16 /07 in Harrisburg PA.
The Bluesers have just been nominated for a Toronto Independant Music Award ( Tima ) in the Blues Category.
The Bluesers are going to be performing in Helena AR at the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival This is the biggest free Blues Fest in the US in the heart of the Mississipi Delta and the 3rd largest Blues Festival in the USA
It's A Pity from '' Shut The Front Door '' will be on the upcoming CD sampler distributed by Blues Revue along with a profile and Ad campaign ,with a Distribution of 35,000 CD samplers and a readership of 100,000 worldwide
It's A Pity goes into rotation on Blues Deluxe syndicated radio program starting Sep 10 ( this radio program is distributed to 104 stations thruout the US, Canada and the world with a market of 2,100,000 listeners )

July 11/2006 " Shut The Front Door " is finally available fresh from the Mfg
The Bluesers are currently in the studio working with Berklee certified engineer D'Arcy McGilligan, D'Arcy has worked with 2 time Grammy winner Rick Derringer and also George Wallace Jr.- currently running for Lt Gov. of Alabama. The CD should be available late spring 2006. Check out D'arcy's resume at www.waterfrontstudio.net . The Bluesers are also working with Harp player Alishan ( Alex ) Hagopian, who will be making a guest appearance on our upcoming CD
Over the past 2 years the Band has had the opportunity to play at various outdoor festivals and events including the Windsor Blues Fest, Burlington Jazz and Blues Fest, Oakville Midnight Madness, Oakville Jazz Fest ( at Prime Time venue ), Dundas Cactus Festival, Port Dover Friday the 13th , Parti Gras at the Distillery District (in Toronto ), Empire Sandy Blues Cruise as well as Benefit and Charity events including Cancer Benefits and various smaller local venues.
The Bluesers are going to MEMPHIS and proud to represent the Canada South Blues Society,it looks like Chris and Mikey are the youngest performers at the event this year (i believe Chris is the youngest performer in the history of the event)...................................

The Bluesers have had the opportunity to meet and play for various musicians who have influenced them including B.B. King, Phil Guy, Dr. John, Willie Big Eyes Smith, Pinetop Perkins, Hubert Sumlin and Stu Heydon. These people really enjoy meeting young musicians who love to play the Blues.The Bluesers are comfortable and familiar playing full blown Festivals with thousands of people to smaller venues where small amps and P/A are required . Our young guitarist,hammond B3 player and drummer are creating quite a stir.
