Artist Information Biography Barry Bowers plays an unusual instrument, a 6-string electric violin. This instrument gives him an expanded range over a traditional violin, incorporating the sound qualities of a violin, viola, and cello. Bruce Von Stiers of BVS Reviews says of Barry’s album “Think On These Things”: “…a wonderful instrumental album filled with beautiful, inspiring music”. Barry has appeared as a guest musician in many churches nationally and internationally, and can perform a wide variety of Christian musical styles, from traditional to contemporary. He typically plays specials during regular church services, and is also available to play entire concerts or for special church events. He regards his playing as a ministry and has appeared at churches with congregations ranging from 25,000 to 25. If you are interested in Barry coming to your church, please use the email contact at the left, or call (702) 349-6253. Barry and his wife Sonja are also the U.S. representatives for Happy Child Mission, a Christian organization that ministers to street children in Brazil, and donate part of their CD revenue to the mission.
