Biography
Ricca Razor Sharp wants you to dig his music. Others dig it and have said so. College radio DJs have spun it with frequency, journalists have put forth flattering remarks. Those who have attended his over 250 shows in 8 provinces have went so far as to nod their head or even dance. It makes Ricca warm to think about it.
Ricca used to front an alt rock band, but in 2005 decided to dedicate himself fully to his beloved genre of hip-hop. Ricca is vice-president of Neferiu Records, and so it should come as no surprise that this is the label upon which he has released two fantastic hip hop albums, 2006s ’12 Steps to a Deffer You’ and 2009’s ‘Causeways & C-Trains’. They are jam packed with interesting lyrics, banging beats, styles and influences galore, and a dash of general utopia. Give them a spin, won’t you? Mantrakid and SoLeo produced it, and that is some deadly shit!
Ricca once smoked weed with the lead singer from Staggered Crossing. And that’s not even his best story. Yeah, I know.

Ricca has performed alongside rad artists, has rocked it at crazy festivals, and has been featured by mad media. Ricca would rather talk about current events, or your hopes and dreams, than himself, but realizes that this biz is all about the name dropping.
