Although failing to enlighten his parents with an hour-long a'capella recording at age ten…Troy Michael Petty has found, musically embedded in his soul, a reason to sing.
Now a stalwart on the Chicago local music scene, Troy has manifested a musical palette

Drummer Jay Will, Bassist Corey Mcfarland and guitarist Kent Vanderkolk blend carefully and coherently into what has
become troy's NEW standard live act. Generally labeled Alternative/Indie/Rock/Pop, troy's minimalist approach refines each song drawing you further amongst different sub-genres. Painting pictures of isolation, love and the struggles of the human spirit, troy evinces a strong emotional quality and sense of honesty that is not so often found in mainstream arenas.

Since 2000, troy has remained active on the road, in their hometown releasing a pair of full-length albums and gaining credits in a few indie films including a music video.
2009 is True Love Maze time! Returning to the studio in late Spring, troy is busy recording the 3rd full length album "True Love Maze" scheduled to be released in the Fall/Winter.
