Biography
An Independent Music Award nominee in 2007 in the Punk category for "Pretend", Shebang continues to gather critical acclaim throughout the southeast during 2008.
Singer songwriter Gina Longo, a native New Yorker, brought her edgy guitar driven music to Orlando, joining forces with lead guitarist Deb Cox (Speshees)in 2004, adding a heavier alternative guitar sound. In 2005 Shebang released "Wild Nights In High Heels", a 5 song EP produced by Brett Hestla (Dark New Day, Virgos Merlot, Creed) and Justin Thomas (Faktion). More critical acclaim followed and Shebang added 2 new permanent members to complete what is now a hard hitting female fronted live rock show, complete with radio friendly hooks, driving guitars and memorable anthems that would fit well in modern rock radio formats. The girls have just released a full length cd "Pretend Not To Notice", acheiving critical acclaim for the 12 song collection.
