Artist Information Biography Erle Montaigue began way back in the late 60's and early 70's when he had a number of hit records in Australia. He was voted recently as the greatest rock voice to come out of Australia. As his children grew up and took up their chosen musical instrument, they joined Erle and formed "Moontagu" a family Country Rock band. Each member of the family is firstly a musician with Ben, Eli and Kathleen becoming teachers of their chosen instrument. Erle Montaigue has kept writing song since the early 70's so that now he literally has hundreds of quality songs ready to go. Kathleen Montaigue, the youngest at 18 (2009) also writes lyrical and melodious songs and has taken over as the main singer in the band as Erle's voice becomes more like  bastard grate file! The band plays music together at home and travels around the world doing gigs at festivals and anywhere where they can share their music. Our influences are mainly good music, anything! If it is real music, with a melody and meaningful lyrics, that is what has influenced each member of the band. Eli, being a rock drummer of the highest quality likes beat music while Ben being the posh pianist, likes all kinds of music from rock, through country, folk, instrumental and even techno! Ben has also written music for a Heavy Metal band from Germany which has been published in Germany. He has also put out two CD albums of his own instrumental music. And he has written musical scores from Film Productions. Erle, Eli and Ben are also world famous Martial Arts, Self Defence teachers and also travel the world teaching law enforcement agencies and military personnel how NOT to  be killed in unarmed combat situations. Erle Montaigue has published thus far (2009) 366 DVD titles covering all aspects of Real self defence and has had 30 books published worldwide, some of which have remained best selling titles in their genre.
