Biography
BoPoMoFo is a perfect example of the world-wide appeal of the Blues. We are an international band with members from 4 countries; the USA, Canada, Germany and Japan.
Our main source of inspiration is the highly-charged, electrified Delta sounds of Chicago-styles Blues played by Muddy Waters and exemplified by the Chess Records catalog but we also draw from the well-spring of other Blues styles - Jump Blues and Texas Blues, for example.
BoPoMoFo is not a copy band. We play what we feel and we feel what we play. That's the way it ought to be.

Discography
'Blues Grooves from Taiwan', an album of original songs and 'Live' cuts is available from us and Band Village http://www.bandvillage.com/ .
We recorded the basic tracks for 11 original songs and a cover of 'I Saw Her Standing There' (a la Muddy Waters) at the legendary Sun Studio on February 5th & 6th, 2007. An EP of the recordings are now available for your listening pleasure.
A video project is currently in post production by Talking Sheep Productions that documents our performances at BB King's on Beale Street in Memphis, TN, our experiences at the Blues Foundation's 23rd annual International Blues Challenge and our sessions at Sun Studio.
