Biography
Starting as an acoustic duo from Woods Hole MA, the Pete & Mike Band spent the first five months of 2008 touring and recording their third entirely self produced album in Nashville, TN. The third album, which features the collaborative efforts of Pete & Mike, as well as keyboardist/bassist Sloan Abernathy and singer/songwriter Seth Capper, reflects the versatility of the band's sound and style as well as their ability to collaborate with multiple artists. In the wake of the release of "On the Road", Pete and Mike will spend the next twelve months touring the northeast and spreading their sound and style to all who will listen. With dozens of shows in six states under its belt, the Pete & Mike Band's live sound has evolved into an enjoyable blend of reggae, folk, beach rock, and funk and varies from an acoustic duo set up with just Pete and Mike, or more commonly, to a trio featuring Chris Cocuzzo on drums and percussion. The Band will be entering the studio on March 1st of 2009 to finalize their fourth album which is scheduled to be released this coming summer.
