Biography
"I like two bands: The Cure and INTERCEPT."
                              -Louis Johnson, the Brothers Johnson

"With a mixture of delicate, light-hearted vocals and prominent power chords, it’s clear that the band’s forte is putting listeners at ease while inspiring them to raise their fists...  Intercept will make listeners want to reminisce about first loves or discover new ones. And we’ve definitely found ours in Intercept."
                                    - Rumblefish Music

"Intercept’s latest album, Magnolia Road, will no doubt be downloaded (hopefully legally) into 99% of the iPods walking around campuses this fall."
                              - Reax Magazine

"Intercept’s Magnolia Road comes just in time to book for the college Fall Fest season."
                                - Skope Magazine

"This SoCal group makes tasty, brooding modern rock that would sound just right on your local college’s radio station."
                                - Bullz-Eye.com

Intercept is currently being featured on the websites and tv shows of CBS, MTV and Bunim/Murray!

Intercept has truly been picking up steam.  A California favorite, fans have been lining up to hear Intercept at:

**THE BEST VENUES: Starlight Bowl Ampitheatre, Key Club, House of Blues (mainstage San Diego and L.A.), Roxy, OC Tavern, Viper Room, the Hard Rock (Universal Studios and Lake Tahoe)and more!

**MULTIPLE FESTIVAL DATES: Red Gorilla Music Festival (two showcases), Temecula Balloon and Wine, Malibu Music Festival, NACA West Regional.

**UNIVERSITIES: Arizona, Texas, Texas A&M, Cal State-Fullerton, U of LaVerne, LSU, and more!

Their music has been spinning at over 140 colleges across the country, and has appeared on dozens of TV shows and indie films.  They were also recently the winners of the Do It Yourself Convention 2008 in Los Angeles.

Their debut LP, "Yellow Dog,"  out for a little over two years, opened a number of doors for the group.  Their singles are frequently featured on MTV and they are partnered with manga-giant TOKYOPOP.  Last year the LP was also featured in media bags at the Sundance Film Festival, and their recent release has been featured at a number of insider-industry events in Hollywood.  The band has interviewed for such websites as LP33.tv and Musicplustv, and their music can be downloaded or streamed from a number of sites, including iTunes and Pandora.

Intercept's plan is to build an actual business, to employ people and make sure everyone is making a good living by helping to support and distribute the music.  By bringing focus and drive to that dream, and by making the time to keep things fun, they've actually begun to incorporate some people into their vision.

The band's website was also recently re-launched following a massive overhaul and redesign.

With all the pieces finally in place, INTERCEPT is one of the fastest growing bands in the US, and definitely the one to watch in 2009.
