Artist Information Biography Emerging onto the Chicago music scene in April of 2005, LAZ lends their creativity in the form of a bass driven Prog Funk/Grooved Metal experiment. Possessing qualities that give a tip of the hat to distinct influences, the trio maintains a style that remains difficult to catagorize into a specific genre, showcasing a wide variety of musical paradigms that ensures each song is unique. The diverse and eclectic nature of the mystique surrounding LAZ performances is accented by an off the wall sense of sarcasm and satire found within the lyrics. However, a strict focus on the music as the focal point of entertainment allows them to bend the rules in order to stand out among the crowd.
